Find your role...

Pick the position you're stepping into. Each one opens a page built just for you — what you own, who you'll work alongside, and your first steps. You only need the one that's yours.

You keep the whole organization running day to day, connecting the board, the events, the city, and the volunteers.

Executive Director
Assistant Director

You're the Executive Director's right hand, ready to carry projects, fill gaps, and help the whole organization grow.

Parade President

You lead the board and carry the vision for the parade, making the final calls and keeping everyone rowing in the same direction.

Vice President

You're the President's right hand and backup, ready to step in, and often leading a project or two of your own.

Treasurer

You look after the money, so the rest of the team can focus on the parade.

Secretary

You keep the record straight: meeting minutes, key documents, and the organization's memory.

Special Event Director

You organize the events that support the parade: the Easter Egg Hunt, the Soapbox Derby, the appreciation dinner, and more.

Director of Volunteers

You recruit, schedule, and care for the volunteers who make every event possible.

Director of Media

You tell Nevada Day's story: social media, press, photos, and the website.

Director of Bands

You bring in the bands and keep the parade's heartbeat in line and on time.

Director of Aerial Operations

You wrangle the parade, fly over, and the balloons from order to inflation to handlers, so they fly safely and on cue.

Director of Safety and  Security

You keep everyone safe, planning for crowds, traffic, and emergencies so the whole event runs without a hitch.

Director of Rock Drill

You run the rock drilling competition, one of Nevada's proudest mining traditions.

Director of Beard Contest

You run the beloved beard and whiskers contest, full of laughs and community spirit

Director of Sports Teams

You bring local teams and athletic groups into the parade and look after them on the day.

General Board Member

One of the flexible hands and at-large board members who pitch in wherever the parade needs them.
