Every year, volunteers like you help make Nevada Day unforgettable. Whether you’re guiding parade divisions, helping guests, or spreading smiles, your time makes a huge difference. Come join the fun, meet amazing people, and be part of a tradition that brings our community together!
Nevada Day, Inc. and the Nevada Day Parade could not happen without our amazing volunteers! People giving their time and energy are the backbone of this event, and we can’t thank you enough.What are your interests and abilities? What would you like to do? Here are some of the positions we are looking to fill:
Parade Marshals
One of the most important roles on parade day! Meet parade entries as they arrive—floats, car clubs, marching bands—and make sure everything is lined up and ready to go. Walk with your division to ensure the parade runs smoothly, equipped with a backpack full of helpful items. You’ll wear a yellow vest so attendees know where to turn for information. Gift Shop & Vendor Clerks
Help sell Nevada souvenirs in our store or at our pop-up booths on parade day. Your hours support the parade, and you’ll get to meet lots of friendly visitors! Join us at the Nevada Gift Shop, 1013 S. Carson St., weekdays from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, or just sign up below.
Clean-Up Crew
Help us keep downtown Carson City beautiful the day after the parade! Meet us at 8:00 AM on Sunday at McFadden Plaza to pick up trash and lend a hand. Gloves, bags, and event t-shirts provided—plus, it’s actually a lot of fun!
Photo, Video & Social Media Support
Capture the excitement and share it with the world! Take photos, record fun moments, and help us spread the joy of Nevada Day online. Receive photo credit and be a part of preserving history
Parade Day Helper
Be our “go-to” helper! From setting up chairs, passing out sandwiches, holding parking spaces, or assisting wherever needed, you’ll be the extra set of hands that keeps everything running smoothly. Sign up below if you’re ready to jump in wherever help is needed.
