Nevada Day Operations Hub

Welcome — and take a breath. Whether you're the parade president, a new board member, a first-time volunteer, or someone who just raised a hand to help, you belong here — and we are so glad you came. This hub holds everything we've learned, built, and figured out (a lot of it the hard way) so that everyone helping keep this parade marching forward has somewhere solid to start. You don't need to know all of it. You just need the part that's yours — and this page is designed to help you find it and, in some cases, even achieve your task.

New here? Your first stop is The Staging Area, just below

You don't need to know everything on day one. Nobody does — We certainly didn't. Start here, and the rest will follow:

How Our Board Works

It explains all the jobs, the rhythm of the year, and how the pieces fit together.

Read the Orientation page

It explains all the jobs, the rhythm of the year, and how the pieces fit together.

Open the Working Calendar

It shows you what's coming up and when. If you check one thing every week, make it this.

What event are you working on?

Tool Box

The tool box holds everything that isn't tied to one single event — the calendar that keeps the whole year on track, the people who've got your back, and every tool and form in one place. Whatever you're working on, you'll end up here. So make yourself at home.

If you get stuck...

Almost every answer in this hub is a click or two away — every process has its own page. If you still can't find what you need, reach out to Chantell Peck Executive Director, at 775-846-7908 (text is best) . They would much rather hear from you than have you sit there stressed. Asking for help isn't falling short. It's exactly how this event has always gotten made.

Keeping this hub alive: If you ever change how something works, create a new event or a new tool, update its page, and add today's date. Future-you — and the person who comes after you — will be so grateful you did.
