Nevada Day Volunteer Membership
Come join a community of passionate Nevadans who don't just attend Nevada Day — they build it. Silver Society members collaborate year-round to plan, organize, and produce the only state birthday parade in the nation. It's meaningful, it's fun, and it's an experience you can't get anywhere else.

To build a Nevada Day that outlasts all of us — one that reaches its 100th year and beyond, powered by a community of people who own it.
VOLUNTEER MEMBERSHIP
Come join the community of passionate Nevadans who help plan and produce the Nevada Day Parade and other Nevada Day Inc. events throughout the year.
Silver Society members have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow members in the hands-on planning and execution of Nevada Day celebrations. It's fun, it's meaningful, it's a great way to meet new people and give back to the community that makes Nevada Day possible.
Requirements for membership

Be between the ages of 21 and 70.

Live or work within the greater Carson City and Northern Nevada region.

Be able to purchase a Silver Society member jacket.

Pay annual dues of $35.

Be available to volunteer a minimum 20 hours per quarter year-round.

Be available on parade day each year.

Attend quarterly member mixers and committee meetings throughout the year.

Completion of a background screening is required.
Come be part of the only statehood parade in the nation. Our Silver Society members will tell you — we don't give up our Nevada Day, we make it happen.
Volunteer Availability:

Volunteer an estimated 20-40 hours

Be available in July, August & September

Availability for volunteer duties from October 12 through November 7, including Nevada Day & Halloween (specific dates subject to committee assignment).
