The Pumpkins, Pioneers and Tall Tales Nevada Day Parade is more than just marching bands and floats — it’s a full day of discovery, laughter, and Nevada-sized fun for the whole family! From our new parade mascot, Echo the Silver State Coyote, to the once-in-a-lifetime visit of the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree, there’s something magical waiting for everyone.

Nevada Day, Inc. is proud to announce that Steven Saylor will serve as the Grand Marshal of the 2026 Nevada Day Parade. A longtime Nevada-based creative professional, arts educator, and nonprofit leader, Steven brings more than 50 years of experience supporting community, culture, and historic preservation. As founder of Evergreen Studio and former Executive Director of the Comstock Foundation for History and Culture, he has led impactful marketing, fundraising, and program development efforts for nonprofits, educational institutions, and public organizations throughout Nevada. His lifelong dedication to the arts, history, and community service makes him a fitting and celebrated choice to lead the 2026 parade.
