Carson City Republican Women's Club Nevada Day Pancake Breakfast

Start your Nevada Day off right with a hearty breakfast!  That's right! 

The breakfast will occur on November 1, 2008 from 7:00-9:30 a.m. at the Governor's Mansion-Nevada Room/Larry Ruvo Stateroom,

606 North Mountain Street in Carson City.  

This traditional event began more than 24 years ago when a group of Young Republicans, headed by Marie Bensinger, was looking for a means of attracting interest in their newly-formed organization.  It was taken over by the Carson City Republican Women three years later, with Betty Bensinger, Marie's mother, becoming one of the event's most dedicated workers and organizers.

The event has traditionally served as a pre-parade gathering point for Republican office holders and potential candidates, offering them an opportunity to visit with the many attendees on a personal basis.

Breakfast features pancakes, ham, scrambled eggs, orange juice, and Starbuck's Coffee.  

The cost of the breakfast is $6 for adults and $3 for children under ten. 

Proceeds benefit the Carson City and Dayton High Schools.

So, come on out and enjoy a great breakfast!
